Team BC Tryouts – Recent Update (11/21/2010)

2010-11-21

Road conditions….

Team BC Tryouts – Recent Update (11/21/2010)
by Scott Browning

We have received concerns with weather related road conditions for north of the Malahat for tonight.

I have consulted with Team BC program coordinator Rey Comeault, U19 Coach Brian Spaven, and BCLA executive Ron Mcquarrie and we have reviewed the situation.
The roads are currently clear and wet and there are no road advisors posted on Drive BC. While it will certainly be cold, we feel we have done the necessary due diligence that allows us to continue to with tonights tryouts.

While we would prefer to see all players at tonights tryouts, for those who’s address is north of the Malahat, if you choose to not attend coaches will make themselves available next Sunday, November 28th for evaluations in the mid island/Nanaimo area. Details will need to be arranged.

For all interested players who live south of the Malahat this is your opportunity to tryout for the Team BC program.
