LAX 4 Life

2011-03-08

Canadian Cancer Society and the Delta Lacrosse Association, hosting.

Hello Lacrosse Families!

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce to you the upcoming event Lax-4-Life being held on Saturday, April 9th from 8am to 8pm at the Ladner Leisure Centre and ask that you pass this invitation to all of the lacrosse families in your association.

In connection with the Canadian Cancer Society and the Delta Lacrosse Association, we are hosting a 12-hour non-stop lacrosse game to raise funds in support of cancer research. Inspired by Ashley’s Angels (BC), this is an opportunity for Lacrosse players of all ages to help this great cause.

Our goal is not only to raise funds for such a worthwhile cause but also teach our children that they can make a difference. The funds being raised from this event will go to the Canadian Cancer Society.

ALL registered Lacrosse players in BC are eligible to participate!

The cost to participate is $25 with all funds going to the society. Each participant can create their own web page in order to raise additional funds and/or can collect pledges manually (see attachments). Our website for the event is: http://cancerevents.kintera.org/lax4life

Please note that a registration form must be completed and a cheque for $25 must be submitted for registration to be confirmed. Registration cheques must be made payable to Delta Lacrosse Association. All other donations will be made payable to the Canadian Cancer Society.

We are very excited to organize this day and are hoping that it will become an annual event where all BC lacrosse families can come together and work towards a common goal.

We hope that you will become part of this special day.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions that you may have at: smith9321@gmail.com

Kindest Regards,

The Lacrosse Moms
